What is The Office For Dispute Resolution? Commonly referred to as ODR, the Office For Dispute Resolution is a resource for parents in a dispute with a school district or charter school. ODR provides services to help resolve the dispute, including deciding if a student qualifies for Compensatory Education, or if a child has been denied an appropriate education. ODR provides mediation services, facilitates IEP meetings, and provides formal hearings with hearing officers. According to the ODR’s website the ODR:
